✧ The shroud of a woman

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ:

تُكَفَّنُ الْمَرْأَةُ فِي خَمْسَةِ أَثْوَابٍ: دِرْعٍ، وَخِمَارٍ، وَلُفَافٍ، وَمِنْطَقٍ، وَرِدَاءٍ

Translation

✧ A woman is shrouded in five garments: a shift, a head-cover, a wrapper, a waist-wrapper, and an outer cloak.
