✧ The shroud

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
عَلَيْكُمْ بِهَذَا الْبَيَاضِ، فَلْيَلْبَسْهُ أَحْيَاؤُكُمْ، وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهِ مَوْتَاكُمْ؛ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ خِيَارِ ثِيَابِكُمْ
Translation
✧ Upon you is this whiteness: let your living wear it, and shroud your dead in it, for it is among the best of your garments.
