✧ Whoever shrouds a deceased person

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْصُورُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ
سَمِعَ يُوسُفَ الَّذِي كَانَ يَهُودِيًّا فَأَسْلَمَ يَقُولُ: فِي التَّوْرَاةِ: مَنْ كَفَّنَ مَيِّتًا كَمَنْ كَفَلَ صَغِيرًا حَتَّى صَارَ كَبِيرًا
Translation
✧ He heard Yūsuf, who was a Jew and embraced Islam, say: In the Torah: "Whoever shrouds a deceased person is like one who sponsors a young child until he grows up."
