عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ سِيرِينَ يَقُولُ:
كَانَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ عَطِيَّةَ مِنَ اللَّاتِي بَايَعْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَدِمَتِ الْبَصْرَةَ تُبَادِرُ ابْنًا لَهَا، فَلَمْ تُدْرِكْهُ
Translation
✧ There was a woman from the Ansar called Umm 'Atiyyah, one of those who gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She came to Basra to catch up with a son of hers, but she did not reach him.
