✧ Dictating to the sick person

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ:
لَقِّنُونِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِي، وَأَسْرِعُوا بِي إِلَى حُفْرَتِي، وَلَا تَنْعُونِي، فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ أَكُونَ كَنَعْيِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الرِّجَالُ بِجِنَازَتِي فَأَغْلِقُوا الْبَابَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا أَرَبَ لِي بِالنِّسَاءِ
Translation
✧ Prompt me with 'There is no god but God' at my death, and hasten with me to my grave, and do not announce my death, for I fear that it would be like the announcement of the pre-Islamic age. When the men go out with my bier, shut the door, for I have no need of women.
