عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ:
لَا تَتَوَسَّدُوا الْقُرْآنَ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنَ الْإِبِلِ الْمُعَقَّلَةِ - أَوْ قَالَ: الْمَعْقُولَةِ - إِلَى عَطَنِهَا، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا مِنْهُ آيَةٌ إِلَّا وَلَهَا ظَهْرٌ وَبَطْنٌ، وَمَا فِيهِ حَرْفٌ إِلَّا وَلَهُ حَدٌّ وَلِكُلِّ حَدٍّ مَطْلَعٌ
Translation
✧ Do not make the Quran a pillow. By the One in whose hand is my soul, it slips away faster than hobbled camels—or he said: hobbled—to their watering place. By the One in whose hand is my soul, there is no verse in it but that it has an outward and an inward, and there is no letter in it but that it has a limit, and for every limit there is a place of ascent.
