عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ قَالَ:

كَانَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ حَتَّى كَانَ وَمَا يَسْتَعِينُ مِنَ النَّهَارِ إِلَّا بِيَسِيرٍ

Translation

✧ Ibn Masud used to recite the Quran until he would avail himself of only a little of the day.
