✧ The prostration incumbent on one who hears it

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِثَوْبَانَ: حَدِّثْنِي بِحَدِيثٍ لَعَلَّ اللهَ يَنْفَعُنِي بِهِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لَهُ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثًا، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْجُدُ لِلهِ سَجْدَةً إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً
Translation
✧ There is no servant who prostrates to God a prostration except that God raises him a degree thereby and removes from him a sin thereby.
