✧ The prostration incumbent on one who hears it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ وَغَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ:
سُئِلَتْ عَائِشَةُ عَنْ سُجُودِ الْقُرْآنِ، فَقَالَتْ: " حَقٌّ لِلهِ تُؤَدُّونَهُ أَوْ تَطَوُّعٌ تَطَوَّعُونَهُ، فَمَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَسْجُدُ لِلهِ سَجْدَةً إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً أَوْ حَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً لَهُ أَوْ جَمَعَهُمَا لَهُ كِلَيْهِمَا
Translation
✧ 'A'ishah was asked about the prostration of the Quran, and she said: "It is a right due to God that you render, or a voluntary act that you perform voluntarily. There is no Muslim who prostrates to God a prostration except that God raises him a degree thereby, or removes from him a sin thereby, or combines both of them for him."
