✧ How many prostrations are in the Quran

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ،

أَنَّ عُمَرَ، وَابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَا يَسْجُدَانِ فِي الْحَجِّ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَالَ: وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: " لَوْ سَجَدْتُ فِيهَا وَاحِدَةً كَانَتِ السَّجْدَةُ الْآخِرَةُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ " قَالَ: وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: " إِنَّ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ فُضِّلَتْ بِسَجْدَتَيْنِ

Translation

✧ Umar and Ibn Umar used to make two prostrations in (Surah) al-Hajj. He said: Ibn Umar said: "If I prostrated once in it, the other prostration would be more beloved to me." He said: Ibn Umar said: "This surah is distinguished with two prostrations."
