عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، فَقُلْتُ:
بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ حَدَّثْتَ عَنْ أَبِيكَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَلْبَسُ لِكُلِّ عِيدَيْنِ بُرْدًا، فَقَالَ: لَمْ أَقُلْ ذَلِكَ، وَلَكِنِّي أُخْبِرْتُ عَنْ أَبِي أَنَّهُ قَالَ: لَبِسَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ حُلَّةً - أَوْ بُرْدًا
Translation
✧ It reached me that you narrated from your father that the Prophet ﷺ used to wear a burd for each of the two eids. He said: I did not say that, but I was informed from my father that he said: The Prophet ﷺ wore on the Farewell Pilgrimage on the day of Arafah a hullah—or a burd.
