✧ The livestock of slaves

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ،
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَعُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَأَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ رَقِيقِ الرَّجُلِ فِي مَاشِيَتِهِ فَقَالُوا: " لِيُطْعِمْ عَنْهُمْ
Translation
✧ He asked Ibn al-Musayyib, ʿUrwah b. al-Zubayr, and Abū Salamah b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān about a man’s slaves among his livestock, and they said: “He should feed on their behalf.”
