✧ The livestock of slaves

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُؤَدِّي زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ عَنْ رَقِيقِهِ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ فِي أَرْضِهِ وَعَنْ رَقِيقِ امْرَأَتِهِ وَعَنْ كُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ يَعُولُهُ
Translation
✧ Ibn ʿUmar used to pay the zakāt al-fiṭr in Madinah on behalf of his slaves who worked on his land, and on behalf of his wife's slaves, and on behalf of every person he supported.
