عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ فَقِيرًا لَا يَجِدُهَا أَيَسْأَلُ حَتَّى يُؤَدِّيَهَا ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، لَيْسَتْ إِلَّا عَلَى مَنْ وَجَدَ
Translation

✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: What do you think of a poor person who cannot find it — may he beg until he can pay it? He said: "No, it is only obligatory on one who has the means."
