عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ قَالَ:

بَلَغَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: لِيُؤَدِّ كُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ مِنْكُمْ صَغِيرٍ أَوْ كَبِيرٍ، حُرٍّ أَوْ مَمْلُوكٍ، مِسْكِينٍ أَوْ غَنِيٍّ نِصْفَ صَاعٍ مِنْ بُرٍّ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ، فَأَمَّا مِسْكِينُنَا فَإِنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا أَخَذُوا مِنْهُ، وَأَمَّا غَنِيًّا فَيُوجَدُ

Translation

✧ It has reached us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Let every one of you pay—young or old, free or enslaved, poor or rich—half a sa' of wheat, or a sa' of dates. As for our poor person, more returns to him than was taken from him, and as for the rich person, he will find [it to be so].
