عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي ذُبَابٍ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: "
كُنَّا نُخْرِجُ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، مِنْ ثَلَاثَةِ أَصْنَافٍ: مِنَ الشَّعِيرِ، وَالْأَقِطِ، وَالتَّمْرِ ". قَالَ عِيَاضٌ: قُلْتُ لَهُ: مَا شَأْنُ الْحِنْطَةِ ؟ قَالَ: " كَثُرَتْ بَعْدُ فَأُخْرِجَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ مُعَاوِيَةَ
Translation
✧ We used to pay zakat al-fiṭr in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ from three kinds: barley, aqiṭ, and dates." ʿIyāḍ said: I said to him: What about ḥinṭa? He said: "It became plentiful later, and it was paid in the time of Muʿāwiya."
