✧ Bathing on the day of Eid

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ:
مَا رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ اغْتَسَلَ لِلْعِيدِ قَطُّ، كَانَ يَبِيتُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لَيْلَةَ الْفِطْرِ، ثُمَّ يَغْدُو مِنْهُ إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ وَلَا يَأْتِي مَنْزِلَهُ
Translation
✧ I never saw Ibn Umar bathe for Eid at all. He would spend the night of Fitr in the mosque, then go out from it after praying Fajr, and he would not go to his house.
