✧ Eating before the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَزَّةَ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عَامِرًا الشَّعْبِيَّ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ، وَاجْتَمَعَ إِلَيْهِ جِيرَانُهُ، فَخَرَجَ وَفِي يَدِهِ رَغِيفٌ، فَأَعْطَى كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ كِسْرَةً فَأَكَلَهَا، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ - أَوْ قَالَ: إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى
Translation
✧ I saw Amir al-Sha'bi on the day of Fitr while we were with him, and his neighbors gathered around him. He came out with a loaf of bread in his hand, and he gave each person a piece, and they ate it. Then he set off to the mosque—or he said: to the prayer place.
