✧ Eating before the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ - أَوْ عَمَّنْ، سَمِعَ عَلِيًّا - أَنَا أَشُكُّ - عَنْ عَلِيٍّ
أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَخْرُجُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ حَتَّى يَطْعَمَ، كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ He would not go out on the day of Fitr until he had eaten; he used to enjoin that.
