Translation
✧ If Friday and the day of Fitr coincide on one day, he should combine them and pray two rak'ahs only, where he prays the Fitr prayer, then it is the same until 'Asr. Then he told me at that point: "The day of Fitr and the day of Jumu'ah coincided on one day in the time of Ibn al-Zubayr. Ibn al-Zubayr said: 'Two Eids have come together on one day,' and he combined them both into one. He prayed on Friday two rak'ahs early in the morning as the Fitr prayer, then he did not add to it until he prayed 'Asr." He said: "As for the jurists, they said nothing about that, but those without understanding disapproved of it." He said: "I myself disapproved of it, and I prayed Zuhr that day." He said: "Until it later reached us that when the two Eids coincided like that, they were prayed as one."
