أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: فِي الْأَضْحَى يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْآفَاقِ سُنَّةٌ مَسْنُونَةٌ فِي شَيْءٍ يَصْنَعُونَهُ ؟ قَالَ: " صَلَاةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ كَالْفِطْرِ، وَلَا تَجِبُ إِلَّا فِي جَمَاعَتِهَا رَكْعَتَانِ قَطُّ، وَذَبْحٌ إِنْ شَاءَ "، وَقَالَ: " حَقٌّ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنْ يَحْضُرُوهَا كَمَا حَقٌّ عَلَيْهِمْ حُضُورُ صَلَاةِ الْفِطْرِ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said:
✧ I said to 'Ata': On the day of Adha, is there an established sunnah for the people of the regions in anything they should do? He said: "One prayer like Fitr, and it is not obligatory except in congregation, two rak'ahs only, and a sacrifice if he wishes." And he said: "They must attend it just as they must attend the Fitr prayer."
