عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بُرْقَانَ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يُرَغِّبُهُمْ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ: مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمَا مَاشِيًا فَلْيَفْعَلْ
Translation
✧ Ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz wrote encouraging them regarding the two Eids: Whoever is able to come to them on foot, let him do so.
