✧ A man making his brother get up and then disputing over his seat

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا يَقُولُ: إِنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا يُقِمْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَخْلُفُهُ قُلْتُ أَنَا لَهُ: أَوَفِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ ؟ قَالَ: " فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَغَيْرِهَا "، قَالَ نَافِعٌ: فَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ " يَقُومُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ فَلَا يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ
Translation
✧ None of you should make his brother get up from his seat and then take his place. I said to him: 'Even on Friday?' He said: 'On Friday and other days.' Nafi' said: 'A man would get up from his seat for Ibn Umar, but he would not sit in it.'
