✧ The hour on the day of Friday

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يُحَنِّسَ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، مَوْلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: زَعَمُوا أَنَّ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ قَدْ رُفِعَتْ قَالَ: " كَذَبَ مَنْ قَالَ كَذَلِكَ، قُلْتُ: فَهِيَ فِي كُلِّ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ أَسْتَقْبِلُهُ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: هَلْ زَعَمُوا أَنَّ السَّاعَةَ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ لَا يَدْعُو فِيهَا مُسْلِمٌ إِلَّا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ قَدْ رُفِعَتْ ؟ قَالَ: " كَذَبَ مَنْ قَالَ "، قُلْتُ: فَهِيَ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ أَسْتَقْبِلُهَا ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ

Translation

✧ I said to Abu Hurayrah: 'They claim that the Night of Qadr has been lifted.' He said: 'Whoever said that has lied.' I said: 'Is it in every Ramadan that I will face?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: I said: 'Did they claim that the hour on Friday, in which no Muslim supplicates except that he is answered, has been lifted?' He said: 'Whoever said that has lied.' I said: 'Is it in every Friday that I will face?' He said: 'Yes.'
