عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ ذَرٍّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
كَانَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَالنَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ؛ إِذْ سَنَحَ كَلْبٌ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ، فَخَرَّ الْكَلْبُ، فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُرَّ، فَلَمَّا أَقْبَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، تَوَجَّهَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ وَقَالَ: " أَيُّكُمْ دَعَا عَلَى هَذَا الْكَلْبِ ؟ " فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: أَنَا دَعَوْتُ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: دَعَوْتَ عَلَيْهِ فِي سَاعَةٍ يُسْتَجَابُ فِيهِنَّ الدُّعَاءُ
Translation
✧ He was in the Asr prayer on Friday, with the people behind him, when a dog appeared passing in front of them. The dog collapsed and died before it passed. When the Prophet ﷺ came, he faced the people and said: 'Which of you supplicated against this dog?' A man said: 'I supplicated against it.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'You supplicated against it in an hour in which supplication is answered.'
