✧ The hour on the day of Friday

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ:

إِنَّ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةً، وَأَشَارَ بِكَفِّهِ كَأَنَّهُ يُقَلِّلُهَا، لَا يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ يَسْأَلُ اللهَ فِيهَا شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ فَأَشَارَ إِلَيْنَا كَيْفَ أَشَارَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَأَلْصَقَ أَصَابِعَهُ بَعْضَهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ وَحَنَاهَا شَيْئًا، ثُمَّ قَبَضَهَا وَلَمْ يَبْسُطْهَا

Translation

✧ Indeed, on Friday there is an hour—and he indicated with his palm as if he were making it small—no Muslim servant coincides with it asking Allah for something except that He gives it to him. He indicated to us how the Prophet ﷺ indicated: he pressed his fingers together, bent them slightly, then clenched them without spreading them.
