عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ: أَبَلَغَكَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُقَالُ: إِذَا أَمْسَى فِي قَرْيَةٍ جَامِعَةٍ مِنْ لَيْلَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ، فَلَا يَذْهَبْ حَتَّى يُجَمِّعَ ؟ قَالَ: " إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَيُكْرَهُ "، قُلْتُ: فَمِنْ يَوْمِ الْخَمِيسِ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، ذَلِكَ النَّهَارُ فَلَا يَضُرُّهُ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said: Has it reached you that it used to be said: If he spends the evening in a village where Friday prayer is held on the night before Friday, he should not leave until he prays the Friday prayer? He said: That is indeed disliked. I said: What about from Thursday? He said: No, that is daytime, so it does not harm him.
