عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ
كَرِهَ قِرَاءَةَ الصُّحُفِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ: " فَإِنْ قُرِئَتْ فَلَا تَكَلَّمْ " قَالَ: " وَقِرَاءَةُ الصُّحُفِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَدَثٌ أَحْدَثُوهُ

✧ He disliked the reading of scrolls on Friday. He said: “If they are read, do not speak.” He said: “Reading scrolls on Friday is an innovation they have introduced.”
