✧ Returning the Greeting on Friday

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَزَّةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ:
لَا يَرُدُّ الرَّجُلُ السَّلَامَ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ
Translation
✧ A man should not return the greeting while the imam is delivering the sermon on Friday.
