✧ One Who Is in Doubt About His Limbs

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ خَيْثَمَةَ،

شَكَى إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ أَنَّهُ شَكَّ فِي الْوُضُوءِ يَقُولُ وَسْوَسَةً: لَمْ تَمْسَحْ بِرَأْسِكَ، لَمْ تَغْسِلْ كَذَا، قَالَ: ذَلِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ يَمْضِي

Translation

✧ A man complained to Ibrāhīm al-Nakhaʿī that he was in doubt about ablution, saying whisperings: 'You did not wipe your head; you did not wash such-and-such.' He said: That is from the devil, so continue.
