✧ The Imam Speaking on the Pulpit on Friday About Other Than Remembrance

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِي الصَّعْبَةِ
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ: " هَلِ اشْتَرَيْتَ لَنَا ؟ وَهَلْ أَتَيْتَ لَنَا بِهَذَا ؟ وَأَشَارَ بِأُنْمُلَةٍ مِنْ أَصَابِعِهِ
Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab said to a man while he was on the pulpit on Friday: "Did you buy for us? And did you bring us this?" and he gestured with a fingertip of his fingers.
