عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
سُئِلَ الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنِ التَّسْبِيحِ، وَالتَّكْبِيرِ، وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ قَالَ: " كَانَ يُؤْمَرُ بِالصَّمْتِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: ذَهَبَ الْإِمَامُ فِي غَيْرِ ذِكْرِ اللهِ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ ؟ " قَالَ: " تَكَلَّمْ إِنْ شِئْتَ "، قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: وَقَالَ قَتَادَةُ: إِنْ أَحْدَثُوا فَلَا تُحْدِثْ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, he said:
✧ Al-Zuhri was asked about glorification and takbir while the imam is delivering the sermon. He said: "Silence used to be commanded." He said: I said: The imam goes into other than the remembrance of God on Friday? He said: "Speak if you wish." Ma'mar said: And Qatadah said: If they innovate, do not innovate.
