عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَالَ:
كَانَ النَّاسُ يَأْتُونَ الْجَمَاعَةَ، وَعَلَى أَحَدِهِمُ النَّمِرَةُ وَالنَّمِرَتَانِ، كَانَ يَعْقِدُهُمَا عَلَيْهِ " فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: مَا عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ، أَوْ مَا عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا وَجَدَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ ثَوْبَيْنِ لِيَوْمِ جُمُعَتِهِ سِوَى ثَوْبَيْ مِهْنَتِهِ
Translation
✧ People used to come to the congregation wearing one striped cloak or two, which he would tie around himself. Then the Prophet ﷺ said: “What is wrong with one of you—or what is wrong with you—if he can afford it, not to take two garments for his Friday besides his two work garments?”
