عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: "
إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّ أَنْ أَغْتَسِلَ مِنْ خَمْسٍ: مِنَ الْحَمَّامِ، وَالْجَنَابَةِ، وَالْحِجَامَةِ، وَالْمَوَاسِي، وَيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ " قَالَ: فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ، فَقَالَ: مَا كَانُوا يَرَوْنَ غُسْلًا وَاجِبًا إِلَّا غُسْلَ الْجَنَابَةِ، وَكَانُوا يَسْتَحِبُّونَ غُسْلَ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ
Translation
✧ I love to bathe after five things: the bath, major ritual impurity, cupping, shaving, and on Friday.” He said: I mentioned that to Ibrahim, and he said: “They did not consider any bath obligatory except the bath for major ritual impurity, but they recommended the bath on Friday.”
