عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى أَوْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى قَالَ:
أَدْرَكْتُ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ شَهِدَ مِنْهُمْ بَدْرًا، أَوْ بَايَعَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ، إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فَأَرَادَ أَحَدُهُمْ أَنْ يَرُوحَ اغْتَسَلَ، كَمَا يَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، وَلَبِسَ صَالِحَ ثِيَابِهِ، وَمَسَّ طِيبًا إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ
Translation
✧ I met the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, those among them who witnessed Badr or gave the pledge under the tree. When Friday came and one of them wanted to go out, he performed ghusl as he would for janabah, wore his best clothes, and applied perfume if he had any.
