✧ Whoever did not attend Jumu'ah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ: أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:

لَأَنْ أَشْرَبَ كَأْسًا مِنْ خَمْرٍ - أَوْ قَالَ: أُوقِيَّةً - أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ تَرْكِ الْجُمُعَةِ مُتَعَمِّدًا

Translation

✧ That I drink a cup of wine - or he said: an uqiyyah - is dearer to me than deliberately missing Jumu'ah.
