✧ Those obligated to attend Jumu'ah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: " بَلَغَنَا
أَنَّ رِجَالًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَدْ شَهِدُوا بَدْرًا، أُصِيبَتْ أَبْصَارُهُمْ فِي عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَبَعْدَهُ، فَكَانُوا لَا يَتْرُكُونَ شُهُودَ الْجُمُعَةِ، نص إضافيفَلَا نَرَى أَنْ يَتْرُكَ الْجُمُعَةَ مَنْ وَجَدَ إِلَيْهَا سَبِيلًا
Translation
✧ That some men from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ who had witnessed Badr lost their eyesight during the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ and after him, yet they did not abandon attending the Friday prayer. So we do not consider it permissible for anyone who has the means to reach it to abandon the Friday prayer.
