عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ:
صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ الصُّبْحَ فَقَنَتَ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ قَالَ: فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: " اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ، وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ، وَنُثْنِي عَلَيْكَ وَلَا نَكْفُرُكَ، وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَخْلَعُ وَنَتْرُكُ مَنْ يَفْجُرُكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ، وَلَكَ نُصَلِّي وَنَسْجُدُ، وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعَى وَنَحْفِدُ، وَنَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخَافُ عَذَابَكَ إِنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالْكَفَّارِينَ مُلْحَقٌ، اللَّهُمَّ عَذِّبِ الْكَفَرَةَ، وَأَلْقِ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ، وَخَالِفْ بَيْنَ كَلِمَتِهِمْ، وَأَنْزِلْ عَلَيْهِمْ رِجْزَكَ وَعَذَابَكَ، اللَّهُمَّ عَذِّبِ الْكَفَرَةَ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ الَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ، وَيُكَذِّبُونَ رُسُلَكَ وَيُقَاتِلُونَ أَوْلِيَاءَكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَأَصْلِحْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ، وَأَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَاجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْإِيمَانَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ، وَثَبِّتْهُمْ عَلَى مِلَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ، وَأَوْزِعْهُمْ أَنْ يُوفُوا بِالْعَهْدِ الَّذِي عَاهَدْتَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَانْصُرْهُمْ عَلَى عَدُوِّكَ وَعَدُوِّهِمْ، إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ
Translation
✧ I prayed the Morning Prayer behind 'Umar b. al-Khattab, and he performed the qunut after the ruku'. He said: I heard him say: O God, we seek Your help, and we seek Your forgiveness, and we praise You and do not disbelieve in You. We believe in You and we renounce and forsake those who disobey You. O God, You alone we worship, and to You we pray and prostrate, and to You we strive and hasten. We hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment; indeed, Your punishment will overtake the disbelievers. O God, punish the disbelievers, and cast terror into their hearts, and divide their unity, and send down upon them Your wrath and punishment. O God, punish the disbelievers, the People of the Book who turn away from Your path, and deny Your messengers, and fight Your allies. O God, forgive the believing men and believing women, and the Muslim men and Muslim women, and set right their relations, and unite their hearts, and place faith and wisdom in their hearts, and make them firm upon the religion of Your Prophet, and inspire them to fulfill the covenant You made with them, and grant them victory over Your enemy and their enemy, O God of truth, and make us among them.
