عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ: هَلْ كَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يَقْنُتُ فِي الصُّبْحِ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْءٌ أَحْدَثَهُ النَّاسُ بَعْدُ
Translation
✧ I asked Salim b. Abd Allah: Did Umar b. al-Khattab perform qunut in the morning prayer? He said: "No, it is only something the people introduced afterward."
