✧ Sleeping During Prayer and the Insane Person When He Regains Reason

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: رَقَدْتُ فِي الْمَكْتُوبَةِ هُنَيَّةً، ثُمَّ فَزِعْتُ فَلَمْ أَعْلَمْ أَنِّي تَكَلَّمْتُ بِشَيْءٍ، أَعُودُ أَمْ عَلَيَّ شَيْءٌ ؟ قَالَ: لَا
Translation
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: I dozed briefly during the prescribed prayer, then I startled awake and I do not know if I uttered anything. Should I repeat it, or is anything incumbent on me? He said: No.
