عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُدَيْلٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبْطَنُ النَّاسِ بِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ:
أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فَقَرَأَ فِيهِنَّ السُّورَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمِئِينِ، فَإِذَا تَجَاوَبَ الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ شَدَّ عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابَهُ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ
Translation
✧ When the sun declined, he would stand and pray four rak'ahs, reciting in them two surahs from the Mi'in (the long surahs); then when the muezzins called the adhan together, he would tie his garment tightly and go out to the prayer.
