✧ Voluntary prayer before and after the obligatory prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ:
غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثَمَانِيَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً فَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَرَكَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حِينَ تَزِيغُ الشَّمْسُ فِي حَضَرٍ وَلَا سَفَرٍ
Translation
✧ I went on eighteen military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ abandon the two rak'ahs when the sun declines, whether at home or on a journey.
