عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعًا، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّكَ تُصَلِّي صَلَاةً تُدِيمُهَا، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ تُفْتَحُ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَلَا تُرْتَجُ حَتَّى تُصَلَّى الظُّهْرُ، فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ يَصْعَدَ لِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ خَيْرٌ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray four rak'ahs before Zuhr. It was said to him: "You pray a prayer that you persist in." He said: "The gates of heaven are opened when the sun declines, and they are not closed until the Zuhr prayer is performed, so I love that something good ascend for me to heaven."
