عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: كَمِ الصَّلَوَاتُ ؟ قَالَ: " خَمْسٌ، فَسَمَّاهُنَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ "، فَقَالَ: " وَرَمَضَانُ "، قَالَ السَّائِلُ: لَا أَزِيدُ عَلَيْهِنَّ أَبَدًا، ثُمَّ وَلَّى، فَضَحِكُوا مِنْهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " إِنْ يَكُنْ صَادِقًا يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ
Translation
✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "How many prayers are there?" He said: "Five," and the Prophet ﷺ named them. Then he said: "And Ramadan." The questioner said: "I will never add anything to them." Then he turned away, and they laughed at him. The Prophet ﷺ said: "If he is truthful, he will enter Paradise."
