✧ Leftover Water of a Woman

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: لَقِيتُ الْمَرْأَةَ عَلَى الْمَاءِ تَغْتَسِلُ بِهِ أَوْ تَتَوَضَّأُ، يَتَوَضَّأُ الرَّجُلُ بِفَضْلِهَا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ إِذَا كَانَتْ مُسْلِمَةً قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: يَغْتَسِلُ الرَّجُلُ بِفَضْلِ الْمَرْأَةِ غَيْرَ جُنُبَيْنِ
Translation
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: I met a woman at the water while she was performing ghusl with it or doing wuḍūʾ—may a man perform wuḍūʾ from her leftover? He said: Yes, if she is a Muslim. ʿAṭāʾ said: A man may perform ghusl with a woman's leftover, provided they are not both in a state of major ritual impurity.
