أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ قَالَ:
إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ ثَلَاثَةُ أَثْلَاثٍ: ثُلُثٌ طَهُورٌ، وَثُلُثٌ رُكُوعٌ، وَثُلُثٌ سُجُودٌ، فَمَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَيْهِنَّ قُبِلْنَ مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ نَقَصَ فَإِنَّمَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ.
Translation
✧ Indeed prayer is three thirds: a third purification, a third bowing, and a third prostration. Whoever guards them, they are accepted from him, and whoever decreases, he only decreases from himself.
