Translation
✧ Her mistress sent her with jashish or rice as a gift to 'A'ishah. She brought it while 'A'ishah was praying, so she set it down. A cat came near and ate from it, while some women were with 'A'ishah. When she finished praying, she called for it, and when she saw the women avoiding the spot where the cat had eaten, 'A'ishah ؓ placed her hand on the spot where the cat had eaten and said, "It is not impure."
