✧ Leftover Water of a Cat

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عِكْرِمَةَ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ:
قَرَّبَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ إِنَاءً إِلَى الْهِرِّ فَوَلَغَ فِيهِ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا مِنْ مَتَاعِ الْبَيْتِ
Translation
✧ Abu Qatadah brought a vessel near to a cat, and it lapped from it. Then he performed wudu' with its leftover water and said: 'It is part of the household effects.'
