✧ A man catching one sajdah with the imam
3426 3398 - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ مِثْلَهُ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: " وَلَمْ أَعْلَمْ أَحَدًا فَعَلَهُ أَصْلًا ".

أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا أَدْرَكَ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ سَجْدَةً سَجَدَ إِلَيْهَا أُخْرَى وَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ
Translation
✧ 3426 3398 - Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Salim the like of it: that Ibn 'Umar used to do that. Al-Zuhri said: "And I do not know of anyone who did it at all." Hidden text: Ibn 'Umar, when he caught one sajdah with the imam, would add another to it, and when he finished his prayer he would perform the two prostrations of forgetfulness.
