✧ A man catches the imam while he is bowing, then the imam raises before he bows

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
إِذَا أَدْرَكْتَ الْإِمَامَ رَاكِعًا فَرَكَعْتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتَ، وَإِنْ رَفَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَرْكَعَ فَقَدْ فَاتَتْكَ
Translation
✧ If you catch the imam while he is bowing and you bow before he raises, then you have caught (the rak’ah), and if he raises before you bow, then it has missed you.
